The CyFi wireless speaker is water resistant. But, it should not be submerged in water. It is also shock resistant and has been tested and survived falls from a bike at speeds of up to 20 MPH. The system is rechargeable and typically lasts from 5-6 Hrs, the batteries take only about 2 Hrs. to recharge.

The wireless range is approximately 30 Ft., The system is remote controlled. It allows you to change the track, adjust the volume and playlists settings from your speaker.
